Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs or so of lean ground beef (Costco)

1/2 cup Yoshida Gormet sauce - (approximately 1/2 cup for 2 lbs, but really according to taste and the amount of burgers you are going to prepare - and how big they will be)

Directions:
Directions:
The real difference between Smash Burgers and other burgers is the way they are cooked.

Roll a handful of beef into a ball (about 2 ounces) - make sure it is compacted enough so it won't fall apart when "smashed".

Meanwhile, heat a griddle or grill pan until it is hot - medium high.

Place a meatball on the griddle and cook it until the bottom forms a cooked disk. Use a spatula to turn the ball over and place it on a different part of the griddle.

Again, wait until another disk forms. Then smash the ball into a patty as far as you can.

Cook the patty until done to you liking, then flip it to the other side and finish cooking as desired.
