"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 -16 oz. Wisconsin Aged White Cheddar Cheese
1 - 8 oz. Package of Cream Cheese
Green and Black Italian seasoned Olives (I use the ones from the deli section that are already done in olive oil and seasonings)
Balsamic Dressing of Your Choice
1 French Baquette - Sliced thin

Directions:
Directions:
Using a round platter, the idea is to create a Christmas wreath when you assemble the ingredients. It is easier to place the cream cheese in the freezer for about an hour so it is easier to slice. If you have difficulty slicing it, don't worry, just spread it onto the cheddar instead.
Cut 1/4 inch squares of the Wisconsin white cheddar. You can slice them thinner if you like.
Slice the cream cheese into 1/8 inch squares. Place a square of cream cheese on top of the slice of cheddar. Starting at the top of your plate, create a circle, slightly overlapping the squares until you make a complete wreath with the center open for you to place your olives.
Drizzle the cheese with balsamic dressing. To add color, use the pimento from the center of green olives, and create "berries" around the wreath. Serve with the sliced baquette.
