2 Tbsp. oil
2 lb. ground beef
1 c. celery, diced
1 c. bell pepper, diced
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. whole kernel corn
1½ c. tomato sauce
1 can pitted ripe olives
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. allspice
½ tsp. black pepper
2 c. cold water
1¾ c. cornmeal
2 c. hot water
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Brown onion in oil. Add beef and brown. Add vegetables, olives and seasonings; simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside and prepare topping as follows:

Topping: Bring 2 cups of water to boiling. Mix cornmeal with cold water and pour quickly into boiling water. Add salt and 2 tablespoons of margarine; stir constantly until thick.

Line large casserole dish with cornmeal topping; top with beef mixture and bake for 45 minutes at 350º.
