1 1/2 cups Sweet Basil leaves
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup pine nuts
2-3 chopped garlic cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Put basil, cheese, pine nuts, and garlic in blender or food processor. Add olive oil slowly while blender or food processor is running to emulsify. When desired texture or thickness is reached stop adding oil. Put in jars or containers with a little head room for expansion and freeze.

Auntie Donna's Pesto - It's the Besto! I use on pasta, for pizza sauce, with fish and chicken.
Depending on the saltiness of the Parmesan cheese you may not need to add salt. I only use Parmesan that is freshly grated at an Italian specialty store and therefore don’t need to add it.
