2 cups butter
4 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons cream-of-tartar
10 cups flour
4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl cream butter and sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla.

In separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, cream-of-tartar, baking powder ,salt and blend well with a spoon.

Now mix the two bowls of ingredients together, if to dry add milk as needed very small amounts at a time (1 teaspoon).

Refrigerate at least one hour or best overnight.

Preheat oven to 400º.

Roll out small amounts of dough, keeping the remaining dough cold till you need it.

Cut out on floured wax paper.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes (do not over bake).
