¾ cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
½ cup molasses
2½ cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and first amount of sugar well.
Beat in eggs. Mix in molasses.
Stir flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt together
and add to cream mixture.
Mix well. Shape into balls.
Roll in sugar and place on cookie sheets.
Bake in 350º oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

I like to serve these at the camp by placing a scoop of ice cream between 2 cookies and drizzling them with Brown Sugar Sauce.
