Base:
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. icing sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 egg yolks

Topping:
1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. almonds
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).

Base:
Blend flour and icing sugar; rub in butter with fork. Add egg yolks and mix well. Press into 8x8" pan and bake for 10 minutes.

Topping:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Remove and pour over base. Bake until bubbly all over, about 2-4 minutes.
