* 8 bone in Chicken Thighs with skin
* 6 Tbsp of butter
* 2 tsp garlic powder
* 1 Tbsp Lloyd's "bam" spice (recipe in "This and That" section of this cookbook.)
or your favorite seasoning

Preheat oven to 350*f. Layer a 9x13 baking pan with aluminum foil. Trim the excess skin from the thighs.. Melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder and let cool to luke warm. Pick up each thigh and brush the meat side with the butter mixture. Place the thighs meat side down on the foil lined pan. Brush the skin side with the butter mixture. Sprinkle the spice liberally on the skin side. Bake chicken uncovered in the preheated oven until skin is crispy and chicken is cooked through. To better crisp the skin ,turn the broiler on for the last 2 minutes. Cook time about 45 minutes to an hour.
Note:If preparing for dairy intolerant diets, substitute coconut oil for the butter. It is an excellent sub and is as good or better then the butter.
