2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons of fresh baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sugar
1 cup of walnuts (chopped)
1 can crushed pineapple with juice included

Icing: 1 (8oz.) cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1½ cup confectioner sugar

Mix all ingredients by hand.
Grease and flour a sheet cake or smaller cake dish. Pour cake mixture into pan and bake

Bake at 350º for 25 minutes. Let cool!


Cream the softened cream cheese, butter and vanilla.
Add the confectioner sugar and beat till smooth.
Cover entire cake with icing and let set up.
Nuts can added to the top for garnish.

Wow, this cake is SOOO easy and delicious! We used to make it way back when we were teenagers living in Ohio. It turned up at every single event that we went to. Please try it, you won't regret it. It can also be made into a Bundt cake with icing poured around it and nuts on top for garnish.
