2 cans (7 oz ea) minced or chopped clams, drained and reserve liquid
Heavy cream
1/4 c butter (4 tbsp or 1/2 cube)
1 clove garlic, minced or crushed
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 lb pasta, your choice

Pour reserved clam liquid into a 2 cup measuring jar, fill with cream to the 2 cup mark. Melt butter in saucepan. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add clam juice cream mixture and pepper, bring to a boil, stirring often. Lower heat and simmer 3 minutes. Stir clams and parsley into the sauce and serve over 1 lb of pasta.
