1-1/2 lbs. Chicken Gizzards
1/2 cup AP Flour
1-1/2 Tbsp. Seasoned Salt
1-1/2 tsp. Pepper
1-1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
2 cups Vegetable Oil for Frying

Directions:
Directions:
Trim excess fat and gristle from gizzards. Rinse under cold running water. Place gizzards and place in pot of cold water. Bring to rolling boil and continue for 15-minutes. Strain with colander and cool.

Meanwhile, combine flour, seasoned salt, pepper and garlic powder in plastic bag. Shake to combine.

Preheat oil in cast iron skillet with lid on to 375 degrees over medium-high heat.

Coat gizzards with flour mix shaking off excess and lay in hot oil. Cook until brown. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook another 10-minutes. Remove to paper toweling to drain.
