4- to 5-pound (2-kilogram) French roast
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 onion, diced
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

Sauce
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 cup cranberry jam
2 tablespoons dry red wine
1 tablespoon BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Make the Roast

Combine garlic power, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Rub them over the meat.

Season roast and allow to marinate overnight in the fridge.

Make the sauce: Heat oil. Sauté onion until translucent, then combine with remaining sauce ingredients.

Pour the sauce over the roast and cover tightly. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes or until browned. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
