1 cup butter(softened)
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup ground walnuts


1 cup Powdered Sugar in large bowl.

Directions:
Directions:

Preheat oven to 300º.

Beat butter and powdered sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, add vanilla. Beat in the flour, then the ground nuts, mix well.
Chill until cold, about 30 minutes.

Roll into 1" balls between the palm of your hands. Arrange the balls on a ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes or until edges begin to brown slighlty.

Cool cookies on baking sheets until cool enough to handle, but still warm. While still warm roll in remaining 1 cup of powdered sugar.

Transfer the sugar-coated cookies to wire rack to cool completely.

Store in air-tight container.

Cool cookies completely before storing, otherwise they will get soggy.
