Two pounds stew meat
1/2 cup flour
1 tbsp. seasoning salt
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 large onion, diced
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 cups water
2 tsp. beef demi-glace (or Better than Beef bouillon)
4-5 large red potatoes, peeled and diced
1 cup sliced carrots
2-3 stalks diced celery

Directions:

Mix flour and seasoning salt and place in a ziploc bag. Shake the stew meat in the bag of flour until coated on all sides and brown in the olive oil until browned. Remove meat from pan, leaving the oil to brown the onions for 3-4 minutes and remove them from the pan.
Mix the Worcestershire, water, beef demi-glace, and bay leaves and put in the pan and mix well scraping up any brown bits left in the pan. Once mixed, add the carrots, celery, and potatoes and the meat and onions and cook for 1-2 hours until the meat and vegetables are done. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
I make this in one pot in a dutch oven put you can cook for 8 hours on low in a slow cooker.
