3Tbsp butter
1tsp garlic powder
3cups of packaged oyster crackers

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350*f. In a small sauce pan melt the butter with the garlic powder and stir over medium heat. Add the crackers and toss and stir to coat with the garlic butter. On a baking sheet, arrange crackers in one layer and bake in oven for 10 minutes or until golden. Cool the crackers and store in an air tight container. Serve on soups and/or chowders.
Note:1) You can substitute 1/2tsp of dried thyme and a 1/2tsp of dried rosemary for the 1tsp of garlic powder. It makes another great herbed oyster cracker.
2) These crackers also make good snack by themselves or mixed with some raisins.
