9 inch baked pie crust (professional chefs recommend rolled crust)
3 pints strawberries, cut in half
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
1 cup cold water
1/4 cup strawberry jello powder
Whipping Cream for topping

Directions:
Directions:
In sauce pan , combine sugar and corn starch
Stir in water
Cook and stir over medium heat, until mixture thickens
Remove from heat and mix jello into the hot mixture
Allow to cool

While cooling, layer 1/2 of the berries in the bottom of the crust.
Pour over half the cooled jello mixture.
Repeat with remaining berriies and jello.

Put pie in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to set

Serve with Whipped topping
