1½ lb. hamburger
½ cup onion
⅓ cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
2 cups water
½ tsp. thyme
1 T. chopped parsley
2 15 oz. cans small red kidney beans, undrained
2 cups cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine meat, onion, bread crumbs, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Shape into 24 meatballs. Brown in skillet, drain fat. Add tomato paste, water, parsley and thyme; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in beans and rice and cook until heated, about 10 minutes.
