1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mincemeat
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. salt
½ cup chopped walnuts (if desired)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Beat eggs and add to shortening and sugar. Add part of dry ingredients; then add mincemeat, mix and then add the rest of the dry ingredients. Add chopped walnuts. Drop by spoonfuls or spread batter in an 11x17 greased cookie sheet. Bake 350º about 15 minutes.
