1 onion chopped
1 tbsp. butter or oil
3 (14 oz,) cans chicken broth
1 32 oz. bag frozen hash browns (I use western style)
1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of celery soup
1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1˝ c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta© cheese
bacon bits (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in butter until transparent. Add broth - bring to a boil. Add hash browns and bring back to a boil. Add soups (don't dilute) and milk. Bring to a boil. Add cheese and heat until the cheese melts. Serve with bacon bits sprinkled on top if desired
