6 pork chops
1 tsp. salt
¾ c. rice
½ package taco seasoning
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
½ c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium green pepper cut into ½ inch rings
1½ c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown pork chops. Combine taco seasoning, tomato sauce and water in a small saucepan. Heat sauce.
Put rice into a greased casserole dish, shake to distribute evenly over bottom of casserole. Place browned pork chops on rice in a single layer, sprinkle with salt. Place a pepper ring on top of each chop. Add sauce, cover with foil and bake in 350º oven 1-1½ hours. Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese and recover with foil. Bake 10 minutes more to melt the cheese.
