2 eggs
2 cups milk
2 cups flour
1/2 stick melted butter
2 T. vanilla
pinch of salt
2 t. sugar
2. t. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs.
Beat egg whites til very stiff.
Set egg whites aside til later.

Put egg yolks in a bowl and add milk. Mix well.
Add baking powder to flour, then slowly add to milk and eggs.
Add 1/2 stick melted butter, vanilla, and salt, and sugar. Mix well.
Fold in the stiff egg whites.

Heat waffle iron and grease hot iron with bacon rhine.
Bake approx. 15 minutes.

Double batch makes approx. 20 square waffles. (5 sets of 4).

Earl Bolle made these. He would wrap them up by 2's in cling wrap. He would load up the freezer with yummy home-made waffles. Just take them out and heat them up. They were the best, and so was my dad.
