⅓ cup sugar
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. black pepper
¼ cup milk
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup buttermilk
1 ½ T. white vinegar
2 ½ T. lemon juice
1 medium head cabbage, finely chopped or shredded
1 medium carrot, chopped finely

In large serving bowl, mix well the first 8 ingredients. Add the cabbage and carrot, stir and mix well. Cover and chill for 1 hour or more and serve. Serves 12.
