1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
2 cans tomatoes
2 6 oz. cans tomato paste
10 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
2 eggs, beaten
2 12 oz. cartons cottage cheese
2 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
2 T. parsley flakes
½ cup Parmesan cheese
1 lb. mozzarella, sliced thin

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients and cook until thick, about 45 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions. Rinse with cold water. Combine eggs, cottage cheese, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and Parmesan cheese. Place half the noodles in greased casserole dish. Add half cottage cheese mixture and then half the sliced mozzarella, then half the meat. Repeat. Bake 375º for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Freezes well. This recipe is from an old family friend, Phyllis Kent. She always made the best lasagna!
