2 cans apple pie filling (I use the More Fruit© brand)
1 box yellow cake mix
2 sticks of butter, melted
½ c. caramel sauce (I use ice cream topping)
½ c. chopped pecans (optional)
whipped cream or ice cream for garnish (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9"X13" pan. Mix apple filling and caramel sauce (you can add a little cinnamon if desired). Spread filling evenly in the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top of the pie filling mixture.
Top with melted butter and pecans. Bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and apple filling is bubbly around the edges. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
