¼ pound butter (one stick)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour 1½ teaspoons baking powder
1½ baking powder

1 cup chocolate chips ( I use a 12 ounce package)
½ cup sugar
1½ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

Cream together the butter, 1 cup sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Mix together the flour, baking powder, soda and sift all these ingredients together. Add the flour gradually to the creamed batter. In a separate bowl mix the chips, ½ cup sugar and cinnamon. Spread half of the batter into a greased baking dish ( 9X13). spread half the chip mixture over the batter. Add the rest of the batter and put the rest of the chips on top. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
