2-lbs. ground beef
1-28 oz. can tomato sauce
1-28 oz. can petite diced tomatoes, plus liquid
2 cups uncooked white rice
2 cups chopped green pepper
4 cups beef broth
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper

In 6 quart kettle, on medium heat brown beef: drain. Add
remaining ingredients: bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low: cover
and simmer for 30 minutes. Makes 10 to 12 servings
