One cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light cream (1/2 and 1/2)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 - 1 1/2 cup pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a sheet of aluminum foil.
Combine sugars, salt, and cream in a large saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until it reaches 228º. Stir in the butter and pecans and continue to heat until it reaches 236º, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool it for 5 minutes. Beat with a wooden spoon until slightly thickened. Before it loses its gloss, drop by large spoonfuls onto buttered foil and let cool.
