One package frozen Southern style hash browns
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Seasoning salt (I use Johnny's)
Pepper
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine soup, sour cream and cheddar cheese. Add frozen hash browns and seasoning salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
Spread in 9 x 13 pan, smoothing top. Sprinkle with a little more seasoning salt. Spread bread crumbs over top and pour melted butter over.
Cover pan with foil and bake at 350º for about 1 hour uncovering for last 15 minutes.

I got this recipe from my close friend Mary Jackson. It is one of her family's (and now my family's) favorites. You can use 2 cans of cream of chicken instead of one of each, or can substitute cream of celery for cream of mushroom. This recipe is also easy to double to make for a larger crowd, I use a disposable foil roasting pan for baking when doubling the recipe.
