Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Saute in heavy saucepan until tender:
2 Tablespoons oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped

Add and saute until brown:
1/4 to 1/2 pound ground beef (optional)

Add:
2 cups tomato sauce
3/4 cup tomato paste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup stock, beef, broth, or bouillon
1/4 teaspoon each oregano, basil, thyme, and cumin
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Use for spaghetti, lasagna or pizza sauce.
