Banana Pudding Recipe

3-4 VERY ripe bananas
6 T. butter
6 T. flour, self rising
3 cups milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 t. vanilla
dash of salt
1 box vanilla waffers

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and flour. In saucepan melt butter. Add all ingredients and cook on medium until it begins to thicken. Stir constantly--scorches easily. Reduce heat (low boil) and cook approximately 5 minutes. In serving bowl put one layer of vanilla wafers, one layer of bananas (sliced VERY VERY thin), enough pudding to cover. Repeat layers until you have used all the pudding. (Usually 2-3).
