Baking Powder Biscuits

2 C. All Purpose Flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
tsp. Salt
⅓ C. Shortening (soft or melted)
1 C. Less 2 Tsp Milk (or water)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven at 450 for 10 minutes.
2, Mix dry ingredients, add liquid.
3. Roll or shape into biscuits. place on baking sheet.
4. Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes.
5. Makes 12-15 biscuits.

Never skimp on shortening as it makes for tenderness. If flaky biscuits are required, knead dough quickly 6-8 times before rolling and cutting.
