Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound brown sugar
1 1/4 cup margarine or butter
3 eggs
1 cup sour milk ( to sour add 1/2 tsp vinegar to one cup milk, let sit for a few minutes.)
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 pound chopped nuts
1 large bag chocolate chips
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup of cocoa
pinch of salt
7 - 8 cups of flour ( I found I needed a little more, so add a little at a time )

Mix all the above together
NOTE: I add the nuts and chips before the flour and after all the other ingredients.

Directions:
Directions:
beat eggs... then sugar... add softened butter or margarine....milk, and other ingredients.

add nuts, and choc chips then flour...

I found I have to finish mixing this dough by hand.... do not make it a dry dough.... it will feel a little sticky.

roll into balls or logs, your choice, not real big... bake 375 degrees for 10 min.
Let cool before frosting.

Frosting
should be more like a glaze.....1 pound powder sugar, ( slightly warm about 1/4 c milk) add a little at a time. might need more or less.... add food coloring or leave white. your choice.
