12 eggs

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 cups Crisco ( softened )

8 teaspoons baking powder

Lemon extract ( 2 bottles ) or 3 small oils

flour as needed.... about 7 cups when using a dozen eggs.

refrig for 1 hour or over night...

bake 350 degrees for about 9 -10 min or till bottoms are just slightly brown

Directions. Beat eggs well, add sugar and continue to beat. Add softened and cooled Crisco, then remaining ingredients.... add flour a little at a time. Dough should be a little soft, do not add too much flour. Dough will stiffen in the refrigerator
Do not over bake.
Frost using powdered sugar a ( about 1 pound ) 2 tablespoons melted butter ) a little milk at a time ( slightly warm milk, not too warm ) and a drop or two lemon extract. Food coloring
