3 cups of sugar
2 sticks of butter
6 eggs
3 cups flour, all purpose
1/4 t. soda
1/4 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 pint (16 oz.) sour cream
1 t. vanilla



Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 325º. Sift flour, soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating each for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of flour mixture at a time, do not beat--blend. Fold in sour cream. Add vanilla. Bake for 1 hour, 20 minutes or until done. Let cool for 10 minutes then remove from pan.
