2 sticks of butter
2 cups of sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour, all purpose
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 cup sour cream
1 t. vanilla

Topping--
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
2 T. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Add flour mixture, alternating with sour cream. Add vanilla. Grease bundt pan heavy with shortening (like Crisco). Pour 1/2 of cake batter into pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of topping on batter. Add rest of cake batter to pan and sprinkle remaining topping on top. Bake for 1 hour (start checking after 45 minutes) or until done. Can sprinkle powdered sugar on top of hot cake, if desired.
