3 cups flour, all purpose
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
3/4 cup soften butter (1 1/2 sticks)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400º. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In mixing bowl at medium speed cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually stir in flour until smooth. On wax paper, shape mixture into a ball and refrigerate several hours. Divide dough into 4 parts, using one part at a time. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter and bake 6-8 minutes or until lightly browned.
