4 quarts snapped beans
3 cups vinegar
3 cups brown sugar
⅓ cup dry mustard
¼ cup flour
1½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beans, remove tips, cut into 2 inch pieces. Cook in boiling salted water for 15 minutes, drain.Heat vinegar to boiling. Mix sugar, flour and seasonings in a separate pot. Add vinegar very slowly (or it will be lumpy) and cook until thick. Add beans and cook for 5 minutes. Put into sterilized jars and seal.
