3 large eggs
½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp ground nutmeg
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
¼ cup butter, melted
½ cup golden raisins
½ cup butterscotch chips
1 cup pecan pieces
2 medium loaves plain French bread, cubed

GLAZE
⅓ cup heavy cream
1 cup sugar
½ cup butter, melted
3 Tbsp dark rum or whiskey

Directions:

1. Spray 4-quart crock pot. In a large bowl, thoroughly whisk together eggs, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.

2. Add heavy cream, milk, vanilla and melted butter. Add in cubes of bread until they are mostly coated.

3. Carefully fold in raisins, butterscotch chips and pecans. Pour into crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, until center is firm.

4. Pour into a 13x9 inch baking dish and pack down a bit with wooden spoon. Pour on glaze. Serve and enjoy!

5. For Glaze: Mix together cream, sugar and butter in a small pot and cook over medium heat until melted. Do not boil. Remove from heat and add rum or whiskey.
