For blue, lavender, or green - 1-oz alum to 1 gallon water.

For brown, yellow, or tan - 1 cup vinegar to 2 gallons water.

For red, pink, or black - 1 cup salt to 2 gallons water.

For each of the colors listed above use the formula listed. Soak in that formula for 2 hours before washing. Then dry and press on wrong side.
