Personal Notes:
These are good for Holidays; Although yams and sweet potatoes are actually two different vegetables, most people especially in the South use the names interchangeably and sweet potatoes have been used in the dish known as candied yams. Also used in baking sweet potato pies; And in dishes with yam or sweet potato in their name for candied yams. Usually were cooked in cast iron pans. I listed as miscellaneous but they are really vegetables and we eat them in addition to a green vegetable.

Very good addition to any meal
