2 cups Hellman's mayonnaise
1 T. Fresh or dried dill (fresh to be chopped very fine)
1 t. fresh Lemon juice
1 T. capers, drained
3/4 c. red onion, chopped very fine

Mix and let meld overnight, covered. Enjoy with smoked Salmon.

Jerry makes the very best smoked salmon, but he needed some kind of sauce to serve with it. I began experimenting with various combinations of sauces and finally, after much trial and error, prepared this one with what I had on hand at the time. It turned out to be my favorite and his too. He never serves his salmon without MY dill sauce!
