1⅔ cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1½ tsp ginger
1½ tsp cinnamon
⅛ tsp cloves
¾ cup butter
1 egg white
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup molasses
¼ cup sour cream
½ cup milk

Caramel Molasses cream cheese icing:
1 cup butter
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup cream cheese
4-5 cups icing sugar
1 tbsp milk
2 tbsp molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients and then add to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Bake at 350º F.

For the icing, place ½ cup butter and ½ cup brown sugar in microwave for 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Cream ½ cup butter and ½ cup cream cheese until smooth. Add 3 cups icing sugar and 1 tbsp milk and beat until smooth. Pour caramel into icing and beat until smooth. Add another 1-2 cups icing sugar. Add 2 tbsp molasses and milk if needed for desired consistency.
