1 Angel Food Cake, bought and broken into pieces
1 (3 oz) strawberry jello
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen strawberries, thawed
1 pkg. Jello Instant Vanilla Pudding and Pie Filling
2 bananas, large
1 large Coolwhip, chilled

5- Layer Dessert:
Layer 1- Line a 9 x 15 baking dish or 2 Qt casserole dish with angel food cake, broken into pieces.
Layer 2 - Sprinkle strawberry jello over cake and add thawed strawberries.
Layer 3 - Mix vanilla pudding and pie filling according to instructions on box and pour over strawberries.
Layer 4 - Chop 2 bananas and put over pudding mixture.
Layer 5 - Top with 1 large Coolwhip. Chill overnight; cut into squares and serve.

Mrs. James was a excellent cook and I always enjoyed eating her dishes at the church homecomings we attended in Pearson.This recipe is one of my favorites. Mama saved a copy of it from the ATCO Citizen when Mrs. James was cook of the week.
