7 large chopped cucumbers
5 large chopped onions
Sauce:
3 cups vinegar
2 cups water
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. turmeric
3 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put chopped cukes and onions in coarse for at least 2 hours.
Mix sauce ingredients and boil for 5 minutes.
Drain veggies. Add to sauce mixture and cook until cukes are soft.
Bottle and seal.

Aunt Zitie always had these pickles in her pantry. They were the first preserves I ever made (with lots of love and help from Zitie).
