Ingredients:  
Beat up egg whites until stiff
Add 3 heaping Tbsp powdered sugar gradually for each egg white
Beat yolks separately
When fluffy, add 1 tsp powdered sugar for each egg yolk. Blend yolks and whites together.
Beat for a long time.
Add vanilla.
Mix well and store in the regrigerator

When ready to serve,
Fill coffee cups ⅓ full with batter
Add a shot of rum and fill to the top with boiling water
Stir well
Sprinkle top with nutmeg

NOTE:
Grammie Donohue would heat up the store bought eggnog, and pour over the batter. I like this version better, but the other recipe is the old fashioned recipe used before eggnog was invented

My mom used to make these at Christmas time for parties... She had a really cute Tom & Jerry bowl with matching cups she used.
