"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 green cabbage (about 2 pounds), quartered, cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons black mustard seeds
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon raw cane sugar
1/2 teaspoon sea salt plus more as needed
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a wide, heavy skillet over medium heat, combine the olive oil, mustard seeds, red pepper flakes and sugar. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mustard seeds start to pop, about 2 minutes.

Add the cabbage and salt and saute, stirring often, until the cabbage wilts - 4 to 5 minutes. Add 1/3 cup water, cover and cook until the cabbage is tender and the water has evaporated, 4 to 5 minutes. Reduce the heat if needed to keep the cabbage from browning.

Add freshly ground pepper and taste for salt. Serve immediately.
