¾ C. sugar
⅓ C. flour
¼ tsp. salt
2 C. milk
2 eggs
1 T. butter
½ C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked, cooled 9-inch pie crust or prepared graham cracker crust

Directions:
Directions:
In a microwave safe bowl, mix sugar, flour, and salt. Add 1 C. milk. Using a wire whisk, mix until smooth. Microwave at 2 minute intervals, stirring at the end of each interval, until mixture thickens. In another small bowl, beat the eggs and combine with remaining 1 C. milk. Gradually add to hot mixture, then microwave again at 2 minute intervals until the mixture thickens. Add the butter, chocolate chips, and vanilla to the thickened mixture and stir well. Pour into the pie shell, chill, then spread with cool whip. Garnish with shave chocolate.
