4-6 pieces cube steak
flour
oil
salt and pepper


Gravy:
Grease drippings from meat
flour
milk
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Coat each piece of meat with flour, front and back. In a large skillet, heat ½ inch oil. When oil is heated, place steaks in pan over medium heat, add salt and pepper, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes. Turn and cook another 5-7 minutes or until they appear done. Remove steaks and place on a plate.

Gravy:
Heat grease drippings, then add 2 heaping T. flour. Stir well and brown mixture. (This means to let it cook for a minute or two.) Add approximately 2 C. milk and stir until the mixture thickens. If the gravy becomes too thick, more milk can be added until you reach the desired consistency.
