1/2 c butter, melted
16 oz. can sliced peaches
1 1/4 c sugar, divided
1 c flour
1 c milk
2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour butter into 2 qt. baking dish. Drain peaches, reserve
1/4 c juice. Bring peaches and juice just to a boil. Combine 1 cup of sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt. Mix well, pour over butter in dish. Spoon hot peaches over batter and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 400º for 25 minutes. Serve warm.
