4 large eggs
2 c whole milk
1 heavy cream
1 t. vanilla
1/4 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
2 lb. loaf panettone, remove crust and cut into 2" cubes
Powdered sugar
Pure maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and nutmeg. Add panettone cubes and stir to coat, then let stand until all liquid is completely absorbed (about 1 hour). Heat oven to 350º. Butter a 9x13 glass dish. Spread mixture into dish and bake 40 minutes until golden brown. Remove, preheat boiler. Dust with powdered sugar and broil 30 seconds. Sprinkle again with powdered sugar, cut into squares and serve with maple syrup.
